Kelly McIntyre, MS

Director of Outpatient Services

Kelly McIntyre, MS, LMFT, joined South Coast Behavioral Health in 2019 and is the Director of Outpatient Services. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and EMDR trained by the EMDR Institute. In her current role, Kelly is the direct supervisor of South Coast’s therapists and oversees the day-to-day clinical and program needs for our outpatient program. She has also held roles at South Coast such as a clinical therapist, lead therapist, and inpatient clinical manager. Kelly McIntyre was drawn to this work because of her passion to help people on their journey to mental wellness. She believes nothing is more rewarding and sacred than watching clients grow, believes in themselves, and take pride in their accomplishments – often for the first time.

Prior to joining South Coast, Kelly was a behavior interventionist for LA and Orange County school districts, working with those on the spectrum and with emotional disturbance. She has also provided ABA in-home services. Kelly continues to work in private practice. In her free time, Kelly likes game nights with friends, being in the water, watching movies, spending time up the coast, and petting “all the dogs.”

South Coast Behavioral Health was a great experience. I’m sad to go, but thankful for all the growth and tools they gave me to continue my life down the correct path. Big thanks to Emily, April, Jojo, Courtney & Dawna from my detox and residential experience. Thank you to Michelle for being the greatest therapist I’ve ever had. Thank you to my case managers Brian and Richard! You truly showed me I was cared for. I will miss my house managers the most; Rae, Bobby & Tabby make me feel like I was home. I will never forget my experience here. Amazing facilitators, especially Sunday, Bryce, John, Joey, Bethany & Casey. Highly recommend ❤️
